I Would just like to say that you did yourself proud with our little herd.the 12 Arabs and 4 miniatures. They can all be a handful from time to time but I am still shaking my head at our 3 yr old filly (she has a tendency to be slightly psycho..!)...and turned out to be the best behaved of all of the horses! I would like to say how happy we were with the service provided by James when he came to visit 2 of my horses for a dental check. Being new horse owners we were probably as apprehensive or possibly more so than the horses and were immediately put at ease by James. He handled the horses well and was patient and really took his time explaining exactly what he was doing and why. I would highly recommend using James and will be spreading the word!

I feel i must say a big thank you for doing my horses teeth today. I don’t think i have ever felt so comfortable and at ease with a horse person before. You were brilliant with the horses put me and the horses at ease straight away. I was worried about having to hold my husbands horse for you as he can be a bit of a handful, however you took total control and made the whole thing a piece of cake. I would now not use anybody else for my horses teeth and will happily recommend you to everybody. I only wish you did people as I’m terrified of the dentist ! lol. Once again a big thanks.

My horse was very untrusting when I got him, at the vetting he would not let the vet look at his teeth due to previous negative experiences. I was more than anxious for Titch's first appointment with James but within 10 minutes James had gained Titch's trust! James's calm and professional manner settled mine and my horses nerves and on our second appointment he was brave enough to have the power drill! We have a large number of horses on the yard, particularly young stock, so ensuring they have a good experience with the dentist is critical. I have used James now for the past 2 years after struggling to find a good horse dentist and would highly recommend him to everybody. He has a wonderful calming influence over the horses and is a true horseman that is rare to find these days. He displays the highest standard of equine dentistry, and is a true professional. I wouldn't use anybody else!

Well, how do I find your service? Simply fabulous. I still haven't forgotten how you came out to my emergency with Chief the day after your first child was born and stayed all the way until the vet came. Not only a weekend but at a very special time for you too. And it was late by the time the vet arrived. If you hadn't been there, Chief would have possibly had major complications with his tongue swelling up so much, so you coming out at short notice, was above and beyond the call of duty and that gets my vote over and over again. Superb! Professional. Nice, kind, gentle with the horses. What more could you ask for?

James is an excellent practitioner. His knowledge of equine dentistry is second to
none and his ability in practise match that knowledge. He was very patient with my
horse, Shylo, who had a pretty tough time as a youngster. It took me almost 3 years
to reintroduce a bit, it took James about 20 minutes or so to earn Shylo's trust!
James is now Shylo's dentist and I have no hesitation in recommending him to my equestrian

The best equine dentist I have ever used in over 40 years with horses and ponies. James is very patient and thorough and has a wonderful way with nervous or difficult horses. One of my horses has a dental problem which James is working at rectifying over a period of time and is achieving great results. James views each case as an individual one and treats them accordingly. Definitely recommend him.

I found James knowledgeable and very calm with my youngster who needed much rasping
due to previous neglect. My horse was fairly anxious at first but James soon settled
him down and he now has a comfortable mouth and I have the paperwork to prove it

I had him out to do the mare first as I know she has a specific thing (missed by dentists in the past), and wanted to see if he picked it up... he did, immediately. (A bit sneaky I know but some dentists really aren't as good as others...!) I then had him out to do my other 3. He was absolutely brilliant.

I was extremely pleased with the work James did on my mare's teeth. It was the first
time I have seen an equine dentist use a bright torch light to actually see what
was happening in my horse's mouth before starting work. He was extremely patient
and kind at the same time as being firm enough to get the job done. Time was not
a factor and I felt that he was very thorough. I am now confident that my horses
teeth are being taken the best care of, and I will most definitely be remaining as
a client. I would recommend James to anyone who is concerned that the cause of any
